Bellevue Wedding Planner: A Secret Garden Wedding at Robinswood House

Nestled close to downtown Bellevue, Robinswood House has a little secret: once you enter its grounds, it feels worlds away from the city. With its historic charm, mature trees and tucked-away garden setting, it was exactly what this couple loved about the venue—

and the inspiration for their wedding design by Bellevue, WA wedding planner MG Event Design.

We leaned into that secret garden feeling with an abundance of colorful, garden-inspired florals. The ceremony aisle was lined from beginning to end with lush arrangements, leading to a spectacular floral arch nestled beneath the trees.

As the couple’s wedding planner and designer, I helped bring the vision together through thoughtful design choices and a carefully curated team of vendors. Every element was chosen to complement the natural beauty of Robinswood House and create a celebration that felt romantic, colorful and completely personal.

The result was a wedding that felt like a hidden garden tucked into the heart of Bellevue—proof that you don't have to travel far from the city to create something magical.

And that's one of my favorite parts of wedding design: taking what a couple loves about their venue and turning it into a celebration that feels unmistakably theirs.
